It’s a great weekend to visit the Foundry (and me!) for some Holiday shopping and art fun! I will be in my studio (which is now studio 14) upstairs at the Foundry Art Centre Friday evening and all day Saturday and I’d love to have a chance to chat with you! I will have some work available for sale and will be making luminaries for the holidays.

While you are here you can shop the Merry Makers Market in the Grand Hall and check out the 8x8x8 exhibit in the main gallery. My fellow studio artists and I have some of our work to see and purchase in the show. All the work in the exhibit can go home with you right away.

Please join me at the opening of my solo exhibition, “Soft Art in a Hard World” in the East Gallery of the Foundry Art Centre from 5PM to 8 PM on Friday March 7th. This work celebrates all that is slowly made, gently crafted and touched by human thoughts and hands.

Join me to make a wool landscape painting suitable for framing .  We will use a felting needle to “paint” with colorful merino wool. One of the class goals is to increase options for rewarding, mindful activities to promote stress relief.
